Webelos (10 year olds)

The Webelos are currently working on the Citizenship activity badge. One of the requirements for the activity badge is to complete all the elements of the Academic Belt Loop for Citizenship. The requirements are outlined below:


Complete these three requirements:Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

1. Develop a list of jobs you can do around the home. Chart your progress for one week.
2. Make a poster showing things that you can do to be a good citizen.
3. Participate in a family, den, or school service project.

We are arranging a small food drive to donate to the local food bank for the Holiday Season and would ask you to encourage your Webelos to visit family and neighbors they know to ask for non perishable food items for the drive. We will also place boxes in the church foyers to accept donations. Please bring them to the next meeting so we can gather it all and get it donated. This will fill one requirement. Please help them to do the other two requirements above this week so we can get it signed off by next week. If they would like, they can bring the poster with them to Pack Meeting in December to show off.

As always we encourage you to participate with your children and help them to complete these activities at home, as well. The scouting program will help them develop self-worth as well as respect for others.
